Extreme Veteran Posts: 395 Location: upstate new york | Fellow Forward Lookers, I have a pair of "New Yorker" trim decals that mount to the fender...Unfortunately some of the 1/8" posts that go thru the fender are broken off. Any helpful hints on creating new posts so these will stay on the car? Thanks billy

Expert Posts: 3967 Location: DFW, TX | I have many '57 New Yorker fender scripts if you'd rather have one with good pins. In fact, I have quite a few spare parts from a four door hardtop, let me know if there's anything you want. I think I mentioned that I have a set of hubcaps when you were looking for some awhile back. Edited by 57burb 2018-06-07 11:37 AM

Extreme Veteran Posts: 395 Location: upstate new york | Gentlemen, Thanks you for your replies... Dave-I'll have to look at your link at home...the work PC is blocked from going just about anywhere... Mike-That sounds like a good option if I can't figure out how to "grow" the pins.... Danny-I'd be interested in seeing what you have in the way of emblems...I'm also in the process of changing the tires and wheels to 15". Do you have a set of 4 @ 15"? I'm sure there are other items i'm after also... Thanks, billy

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9666 Location: So. Cal | A set of 4 15" hubcaps? If so, you will need to figure out what you want. There are very few hubcaps that were made in 15". '54-'56 Mopars or some '59-'66? Imperial. That's about it. All of the other cars used 14" wheels and hubcaps. I am using a '66 15" disc brake hub cap on my New Yorker. They look pretty nice. Another good choice would be the '55 or '56 New Yorker. '56 is smooth, if you like that, and '55 has ribs on it. I think the '55 looks closer to the '57 style. One last option is to use a dog dish cap. Believe it or not, some '57 Chryslers did come with a dog dish, but not a New Yorker. Expert 5K+ Posts: 9666 Location: So. Cal | You need to be specific. Sets of which one? But in general, no I don't except for the 14" New Yorker caps that Danny & Mike have. Other's are best obtained through BigM or Ebay.
