Location: Hayward, Calif | Yo Bud, I did some of the floor and all the trunk floor replacement when I did wife's 59 Dodge. Almost the same floor. Go backwards 2 - 3 yrs in the ' body, glass ,,,,, forum ' I posted a lot of pics when doing this. I made my own ribs as they add a lot of support to the floor. Exact location not important as long as they don't interfere with seat mount location. Once the carpet is installed, they will never be seen again. Same with the trunk floor except it has 2 somewhat U shaped supports going from front to rear about 1/3 of the distance in from the very outside edges of the floor. I'm pretty sure I posted pics of that too. I bought a sheet (4' x 10' ) 18 ga sheet metal at a store that sells sheet metal, iron, etc. Wasn't very expensive. Also get some scrap pieces of 1/8" copper to use as heat dams. You'l find they will be worth their weight in gold !! Had a local Fab shop cut and bend pieces to fit. Do Not get galvanized or any coating on this sheet metal. You can clean and paint after assembly. You will need some good wire feed welding skills. Without it this job will be impossible. You will need lot of C clamps of various sizes. PM me if I can be of any further help. Good Luck, Jerry |

Location: port leyden ny | I really want to build my pans as close to exact as possible. Thanks for your suggestion though, I may end up doing this the way you did. |

Location: Connecticut | Here's the passenger side from my friend's 58 Ply conv. Same floorboard for all 58 Plymouths. The driver's side is nearly a mirror image, except the area for the removeable panel is the same on both sides (not a mirror image). Also, gas pedal area is different. But this should get you started. Ron

Location: Eastern Iowa | It's entirely doable.
Just take your time and try to plan your steps in advance, concentrating on one area at a time or you will find yourself overwhelmed.
I did this o my 300C years ago, made all new P/S pans as well.
