Those hydraulic pressure switches are notorious for giving up. I don't know if there is a brake light switch and bracket that would bolt onto the pedal assembly from a C-body.

BUT

I do know it took about 20 minutes contorted under the dash with a piece of steel scrap and a '70s GM brake light switch to get one working in my Plymouth. It worked well enough that I did the same in my Chrysler before I put the dashboard back together :D

Good luck!

I mounted a 1962 Chrysler brake pedal switch in my 60 Chrysler. 62 is the first year for the pedal switch on full sized Mopars. I had to make a small bracket and mounted it so that the switch bottoms out against the knuckle where the pedal assembly pivots at the brake push rod to the master cyl.

Here`s an old thread showing how I made up mine. http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=60202&...

Tired of changing hydraulic switches. Has anyone changed there's? Other than making my own mounting bracket, is there something I could adapt from a C Body?
Thanks in advance,
Steve

Yes, a braket is easy to fabricate but these were popular already back in the day, so there are always some on ebay:
