1955: 259 Plymouth, 270 Dodge
1956: 270 or 277 Plymouth, 315 Dodge

So there aren't any 277 motors in 1955, and almost nothing from a 270 will swap onto a 277.

1956: 270 or 277 Plymouth, 315 Dodge.


Not to be contradictory or anything ( ) BUT Dodge did have a 270 2bbl V8 as the base Coronet V8.

Location: Wisconsin		If the other one doesn't work out, I have a good core for a rebuild (part number 1632316) that I believe fits a 241, 260, 270 Dodge. $25 plus shipping if you're interested.

I would need one that fits a 277 not the 270
