According to Pg. 14-41 in the 55-58 Mopar parts catalog, what you are looking for is PN 1637 367. It was used on the 55 Plymouths with the 55 Dodge V8s, the 55 Dodge V8s and the 55 Chrysler V8s. This seems to be a Carter 2348 or M2348S. They are out there (eBay) but not that cheap.

The lever arm is very straight

there's been problems with F/Ps for at least a decade. I used a HH adaptor & an LA F/P on my Chr. 331, I'd look to see if that's an option on the Dodge.

im going to take a chance on the carter fuel pump. i did check with hemi heads and their adapter does not fit the dodge engine. i hope this one works!!!
