Expert 5K+ Posts: 7393 Location: northern germany | Looks nice but Imo the chop is too extreme (as always) and I couldn't ditch the interior (seats!) fast enough.

Expert Posts: 2524 Location: Houston | The chop...is hard to tell because they took photos from a lot of breathtaking angles, all of which serve to hide how the car actually looks. The seats are amazingly out of place, both in terms of color and design and look amazingly cheap. Did I use amazingly enough? Probably not. The paint is also a cop out....shiny, please. Someone is gonna be pretty unhappy in 1 year when the already-on-the-way-out fad of satins is over. The gold trim accents are also 'nope'. But man I love that fender medallion! lol I think most people will assume its refers to having the highest level of insurance coverage from Hagerty's largest competitor.

They look like made out of a cheap 80s plastic gym bag. As I said in another thread, to create a period correct looking interior is the hardest part. All the crazy jet age fabrics (and people with style and taste) are long gone.

It looks okay from some angles but this car, like all chopped cars, has the flattened ****roach look, or as if something dropped on it. Imo a good shop should improve the aesthetics. In a FL it is important that the car does not lose its "airy" and light roofline, as this is what makes these cars. If you look at it you should think, wow, it looks sleek and long, has it been chopped? But this is never the case. They always look absurd and out of proportion since this is lots of works the custromizer seems to think, if I do that, it must be recognized instantly. Big mistake. IMO another ruined car.

My thoughts as well, I bump my head sometimes in my Saratoga '60 with the oem roof The seats are a benchmark for bad taste.....

The problem with this chop is is makes the quarter panels look fat and dopey, when they otherwise wouldn't. But without a doubt the interior is the biggest disappointment. If you're gonna do a Chrysler, of all things, you can't make the interior announce that you ran out of money and ideas. It just screams "1982".

Expert Posts: 1267 Location: San Antonio TX | I actually kind of like this, though I agree with everyone else that the interior is really dissapointing, especially the steering wheel. The seat patterns really don't work and the red accents on the seats looks really out place. Not a fan of the table. I like what they did with the package tray though. The gold accents looke pretty nice in my opinion (though having the gold radiator is a bit much) and the roof chop is just right if one wanted a chopped roof on a 61 Chrysler. My favorite feature is what they did with the reverse lights. Makes them look like a jet engine. The logo's would definitely need to go, though understandably, it's the guy who customized it's 'signature.'
