I have a friend who doesnt have a computer and is hoping to chase up some history on a car from nearly 40 years ago .

Here is the messsage

In 1981 or 1982 I drove down to Burleigh Heads which on the Gold Coast to see the Cars of the Stars Showroom.
I was only seventeen years old at the time and I would have drove my E 37 Charger down there.

When I arrived at the Cars of the Stars I noticed a Chrysler 300 C or it could be been an 300 D, this was on display and It would have been RHD as well.
As this was a long time ago and I was mostly into Valiant Chargers at the time.
The display also said at the time this car was owned previously by Bob Dyer from “Pick a Box”.
This was very popular show on the TV in the Fifty’s and Sixty’s in Australia.
I saw the White Chrysler 300 on display again in 1983 at a Museum in the Tallebudgera Valley which also had aircraft on display there as well.
I would also like someone to confirm this story of Bob and Dolly’s 1957 White Chrysler 300 C and I would love to know its whereabouts now!

Regards Mick

I'd check with the Chrysler 300 Clubs
They may have records/history on such a car but w/o a VIN# it will be a crap shoot.
