Subject: 1956 Plymouth brake help

I am AAJ disc brakes on the front of my 56 Ply The instructions said to make the
tie rods 3/8 of a inch shorter can someone tell me why ?

the kit would change the angle of the alignment

I'm thinking about canceling my order for this very reason, hacked components are weak components

Ok thank you I am going to try it If you get the kit from AAJ you also have to tap the holes on the spindle .
If you get it let me know and I will tell you about tapping

I don't like the idea of welding nuts onto my spindle and then tapping it and cutting them off. really not my style I'm looking into swaping 56 dodge spindles and going the none modified kit

I did not weld the nuts to the spindle I have a friend watch from top and bottom for squareness
and I used a tap with 3 flukes
