Hi everyone, I'm having a little trouble locating an oil pump for a 56 277 - everything I see online shows only for the 4.4l 273. Is the Melling m-50 a proper replacement for a 277 v8 as well? Or can someone point me to the correct part?

I see two potential PNs, 1618 949 early and 1851 434 late(r).

Both generate hits on eBay

The Vapex pump above is not for the A-LA series; it is an EarlyHemi unit (melling M50).
A and LA are interchangeable but the pick-up tube will vary between years/models.
