So I've seen silver and gold ones on a 1958 Fury Grille. From what I heard the gold one represented the "Golden Commando V8" and the silver one represented the "Dual Fury V-800". Others have told me all Furys had either gold or silver V Emblems. What is the correct color for a 1958 Plymouth Fury Grille Emblem?

Here is a listing of the engines for the 58 Plymouths. Based on the gold anodized panel on the Fury, I can't image that the V on the front grill is anything but gold.

That said the 58 Plymouth V Part number was 1754 418 except for the 58 Fury which was 1754 491.

Photo from an old NOS Fury ebay Auction:

Photo from a current eBay auction (no PN ) (gold but not *AS* gold - maybe that is the difference?)

All 1958 Fury 'V's were silver on a gold grill.

Fury grille "V" is silver, other models with silver grilles had gold "V".
Over the years I have owned four '58 Fury's and 3 Belvedere's.
