Not trying to be rude or offend anyone but what is the technical name of those Jane Mansfieldish projectiles on the bumpers of so many of the FL cars? Does anyone manufacture them?

While Cadillacs and the like had "Dagmars" after an American actress, ours are just called "bumper guards".

"Dagmar (born Virginia Ruth Egnor, November 29, 1921 – October 9, 2001) was an American actress, model, and television personality. In the 1950s, she became one of the first major female stars of television, receiving much press coverage."

"In 1950s auto design, the slang term "Dagmar bumper" emerged to describe dual chrome pointed projections on the front ends of Cadillacs, Buicks, Packards, and other U.S. automobiles, an allusion to the actress' physique and trademark attire. "

Thanks! do you know of anyone manufacturing them? Looks like a date with that lady would require safety glasses.

Almost no one manufactures any body parts for these cars. You didn't mention which car you are working on. They are all different. Find a good used one or start manufacturing them yourself.

I have a 1960 Desoto Adventurer. I thought if someone was manufacturing for one marque, they'd probably be doing likewise for a few.

Unique to one model, not likely to be repopped. There's another guy looking for a set too. I parted a very rusty 60 Adventurer sedan, only one was with it and it crumbled to pieces.
