Looking for group's consensus. I am looking at the inside area of the C pillar and there is an "L" shaped brace welded into this area on both sides. I have seen some others on the internet with this brace welded in, but I have also asked several experts who have advised that this brace was not in these cars from the factory. I am wondering if this is an old repair to strengthen the roof or if this is, in fact, a factory weld.

Thanks in advance!

Happy New Year

It's original, where the roof assembly is welded to body, to give extra strength on joint.
