You probably think I am crazy but I saw, to my great amazement, Old St. Nick himself chauffeuring Taniya Nayak to the home of the winner of The Great American Light Fight on ABC Monday evening. His "sled" was a shiny red 58 Plymouth.

I wish I had been quick enough to grab a picture with my phone, but I think I was too stunned to think of it.

This is not a show I generally pay attention to, but it first caught my eye when I saw Ms. Nayak riding in the back seat of an old car. I immediately recognized the distinctive profile of the C pillar trim and rear window design of a Forward Look car. The interior was unique, sort of a houndstooth design, at least in my fleeting impression of it. Then they switched to a shot of Santa Claus at the wheel. Then a passenger side shot as the car made the corner, a gorgeous red 58 Belvedere with anodized rear trim.

Now THAT is a Merry Christmas! I nearly spit out my cheetos!

I did a little research and learned that what I was watching was Season 7, Episode 3 of The Great American Light Fight. According to broadwayworld.com, this episode is scheduled to repeat Saturday, December 28th at 8 PM eastern. Good luck remembering that, but maybe now that you have read this, you might think to look for it. It is near the end of the show.

I would not be surprised to find out that someone here owns that beautiful car, or knows someone who owns it.

Yes, that is definitely it. I forgot to mention the green ground effects they installed on the car. In looking at the screen caps, it looks like the insert in the sport tone trim may just be paint, and not anodized as I originally thought.

Santa has good taste. It never hurts to be seen with a beautiful lady.

...And Taniya is pretty too.

Thanks for grabbing those images, KcImperial.
