Hi all!

The battery in my Plymouth (350 GC) is about 17 years old and is not holding a charge. I'm looking for a vintage looking replacement. The one concern I have is that, for whatever reason, the current battery is wired with the positive as the ground.

The car was converted decades ago to an electronic ignition--I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

If I get a new battery, can I just drop in a battery such as this one and turn it so that the postive terminal goes to the ground, or do I need a special battery?

Electrical is the weakest part of my automotive acumen, so any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

You don't need a special battery.

Why someone converted the car to positive ground is another mystery.

Thanks for the reply! The good news is I'm an idiot and it's not a reverse polarity situation.
