Already had it out once and wd 40’d. Daughter broke a key. Any suggestions?

What exactly is it that you need repairing? Are you talking about the push button control unit? OR? you said your daughter broke a key... ?
If the push button control isn't working smoothly they can be pulled apart and rebuilt but it takes a bit of time and skill.
There are thin sliding cams inside the switch that the push buttons control , they get dirty and worn out and the buttons get very hard to push. I rebuilt one several years ago.

There is an article on the 62 to 65 Mopar website (they have a Tech and Tips page )that goes through the whole rebuilding process for the heater vacuum control switch assembly. As far as the button itself , if you have all of the pieces they can be glued together with a liquid called Weld-on no.4. Like Herr imopar 380 says it does take some time and skill.
