Good Morning, All!

Last year I had the push button switch for the heat and air conditioning on my '59 Imperial rebuilt. It is a terrible job to remove the switch, and I made the mistake of not labeling the several electrical wires when I disconnected them from the switch--hard to see them anyway, but you can feel them. I thought I was fine because I have the shop manual, but to my amazement when I put the switch back in, I realized the color codes in the manual do not match the colors of my wires! I have the switch working, except when I turn the heat on, the blower motor will not blow; it blows fine on all speeds with the a/c on. Can anyone out there give me some guidance. I am sure one of the wires is wrong, but I don't want to be pulling and pushing on that old switch too much.

Thanks!

Rex

Well, it might be that the linear cams has been mounted wrong in the vacuum/electric switch. It's easily done if one doesn't take photos when demounting.
Try to check the position of the wires

Thanks so much, Wizard! I am hoping I have just crossed some wire.

Will report back!

Best,

Rex
