Location: WHEELING,WV.>>>HOME OF WWVA | i just did my 60 dart as it was worn and full of rust . it started as stuck , yes stuck with muscle being needed to free it up . so i pulled it , opened it up to see the damage . it was beyond help for both gears but
i had bought a spare not long ago just in case . i opened it up to see a not too bad interior . i still went ahead for a rebuild and had a hard time finding all chrysler nos parts but i did . they are really hard to find
and is not one stop shopping . if i ever need a manual steering gear done again it will be done by people in the know . for a pro rebuild it would have cost at a minimum 279$ plus the trip both ways . what i
have in it at this point all totaled is @ 250$ and hours of aggravation . but in the end though i know all new parts are nos mopar . two things will also help make things easier removing and reinstalling , get a helper
and slide the column up out of the way for more wiggle room ---------------------------------------------------------later
