Nice car. In the ad link it shows more photos. The trunk still has the original rubber mat and the metal tire cover.

This example looks to be what I would give my eye tooth for. Original and cherry and the price is right too. Too bad I can't have another toy or this would be it. I like it better without the bumper wings but would prefer the color sweep to match the roof. If I owned it, it would somehow find a '58 lower grille installed for sure. Oh, yeah!

I'm of the opinion that if you want a '58, just buy a '58. I like the '57 grille, and it's getting more rare with all the '58 swaps.

I don't see the trunk mat though.. not that most of them DO still have that anymore.. I see the fuel sending unit wire and that would be beneath the mat..

You’re correct. I feel kind of stupid. Instead of enlarging the photos I casually glanced at the trunk shot on a small screen and saw small blotches that looked like the “dots” at the bottom of the felpro gasket box and assumed it was the rubber mat. Guess I can get a job working quality control in a Chinese factory, lol.

LOL nothing to feel dumb about. I had to look close, squint, and the telltale thing was the wire... I'm pretty sure that doesn't come up through the mat..
