I was thinking 300E, but notice the reflection behind it. The trim is lower, right above wheel lip, more like 57 Desoto trim, maybe a 57 Firedome with single spear. The look of the rocker molding could just be a reflection of the car next to it.

Actually maybe not, there's no black in the wheel cover of a 57 Desoto cap.

When your talking about the picture of the Werner Motor Co., white convertible, then I assume it's a not a 60 or 61. The wheel arche and the rocker panel side trim do not fit the 60 or 61 Letter car. The fender/ hood line seems to high as well.

Happy Motoring!

Dieter

I think this would be a '59 or '60 Imperial, right?

The location is Las Vegas, the event is the 1967 USRRC meeting. Oh, and the race car is a Lotus 23 driven by Charlie Kulman.

According to a recent article, there are only 2 Howard Johnson's restaurants open now. One is in Bangor, ME, and the other in Lake George, NY. There were approximately 1000 HoJo's open in the '70s.

Note the modified lower grille trim, the blocky hood ornament thing, and the
replacement of the parking lights with actual sealed beam headlights. This car

Hank Blank's '57 belvedere, and '58 Fury.
Yes, the red car is a real Fury. it was done in 1960.
The '57 was done in 1962. My father took those pictures.
