A poor quality postcard, but a lot of Dodge here!
The Berl Berry dealership had 200 new 1959 Dodges in stock to select from!

Jim, this is a Kingsway Deluxe. Regent is a Canadian name. Plus, the bumper wing guards were not available in Canada.

Did I do it again? I tried so hard to get it right, I get confused... I though I had found the answer for this one at http://www.allpar.com/world/plymouth.html

Well the answer is indeed in that link you provide, see the chart near the bottom of the page with model equivalents for US / Export and Canadian production cars.

Basically, here's the rundown for 1957-1959

USA --------------------------- Dodge export ------------------------------------------- Dodge Canada

Plymouth Plaza ------------- Kingsway (n/a in 1959) -------------------------------- Crusader (n/a in 1959)

Plymouth Savoy ------------ Kingsway Deluxe (Kingsway in 1959) ---------------- Regent

Plymouth Belvedere ------- Kingsway Custom (Kingsway Deluxe in 1959) ------ Mayfair

Plymouth Fury (1959) ----- Kingsway Custom ---------------------------------------- Viscount (1959-only model)

Scrolling down, I just simply looked at the first photo I saw there.
So, In Canada it was named Regent, but in Mexico a Kingsway DeLuxe.
Thanks! I corrected the postcard website accordingly.

I guess we all know this one: the 1957 Dodge Royal Lancer at the Charlevoix Train Station, in Michigan State.
So, why'd I bring it up here? Well, fairly simple, because it is 'locatable' (a strange new obsession of mine...)
Too bad it isn't in Street View.
But happily, there are several photos on Panoramio showing the station as it is now, hardly changed: frankenfotoptoomey, &  cfmason10

That car is a prototype; duh...but, in a large-brochure photograph of it, with its driver's door open, you can
see where it does not have a VIN tag on its door hinge pillar. Neat....

Here's one for which I can not find it's original location, and I want to locate it very much...
It's a nice postcard, a 1958 Chrysler Saratoga Hardtop & 1959 Plymouth Fury at Carson's Restaurant in San Marcos, Texas
On the wall it says:

"Eating Out Is Fun"

And the caption on the back reads:

"Carson's Restaurant
Highway 81, Main Street of U. S., San Marcos, Texas.
What the Stage Coach Inn was to travelers of
yore. Carson's is to the modern motorists.
Always open and famous for 3 decades of
good food and good service. Pleasant, all-new
surroundings inducive to relaxation. Com-
plete service for your car while you eat."

To me, this DeSoto looks very much like an Adventurer – amoung others, because of the goldish hub caps –, but I'm not sure. Anybody?

Yes, the Dodge is a Custom Royal Lancer and in the same tri-tone schema as mine. First time ever I've seen one in an old pic other than the brochures. Nice

Cool postcard from a place I know well.

There's one more FL car on the pic, I think, as the pale blue or white car, right next to the restaurant neon sign, on the extreme right of the card looks like a 1960 Dodge Dart 2dr hardtop.

charles phoenix slide... description: Groucho Marx's Trousdale Estates (Beverly Hills) carport, circa 1960. Sporting not one, but TWO delectable deluxe Desotos -- and for all I know a third one was being driven to the supermarket even as this shot was being taken. The car maker was a major sponsor of Groucho's TV Show "You Bet Your Life"...and the comedian never passed up a freebie.

I'm pretty sure I see a 1958 Plymouth Savoy, but there seems to be more there...,
at the Stamford Motor Hotel in Stamford, Connecticut
a Suburban, one or more Convertibles..., but I can't make out brand and model

Really cool pic once again, Jim!

Just to the right of the '58 Plymouth is a '58 Chrysler New Yorker. I thought it was a convertible at first, but I think I see the rear door handle in between the motel sign' posts, so I guess it's a four door hardtop.

Look through the windshield of the '60 Olds. You can see a '59 Dodge.

The newest car I can spot in that pic is a 56 Chev and I think I see two (?) That seems odd for a photo
supposedly taken in the fall of 1957.
