Evansville Indiana, Winter 1957.

Very nicewinter pic but Winter 1957?? I see 1959 cars (one looks 1960 Pontiac) at pic. Maby it is winter 1958

You're right. And there's also a 1959 Plymouth on the lower right, behind the Cherry's Parking sign, and a 1959 Pontiac right in the middle, on the lower edge of the pic.

There also something strange about this Ambulance in Kentucky photo.. The hubcaps are Canadian 1958 Plymouth units!

The MacKenzie Plymouth Radio Ambulances were operated from Prince Albert,Saskatchewan.

Checking out the accident

Don't know where it is,but looks like 1962 going by the billboard ad for the Chevrolet Impala.Handy place to have an accident outside a Junkyard, and it looks like there's a '55 Plymouth convertible in there too.

You are correct. My mistake. I am pretty sure that I've got the info right on the pictures of my Mom, Dad and Uncle with the '59 Savoy, but maybe not....

Yeah, I did see that. That Custom Royal must've been rolling pretty fast to sustain that kind of damage.

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

One more thing I love about the 58 Plymouth design ... perfectly integrated turn light.

Outside of the awkward, drop-down "billboard" on the back bumper for the back up light,
I think the 58 Plymouth was a flawless design. Happy to own one again.

Not necessarily, unfortunately. Especially if it was a head-on with another moving vehicle.

The Dodge PC, above, is an example of an advertising agency's having sandwiched a photo of a prototype (note
the 1956 "Custom Royal" badging on it) car onto a background---along with the Deliriously Happy couple
'standing' behind it (but, who could blame them?).

In that regard, these people were either apparently very tall and/or mis-figured, because they are seen towering over it,
behind it.
