Expert Posts: 2824 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Snohomish, WA. | I also feel for his family. It's tough to lose someone in your life, but tougher when it's family. I also wonder what his long illness was and whether it was at all related all the crap he inhaled and got into his skin over a lifetime of doing what he did. Paint fumes, fiberglass resins, bondo dust, etc all can have long lasting effects. Working with lead, solvents ....... lots of places to get sick. Mike

Expert Posts: 2338 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: central oklahoma! | well, i'm sorry he died. his family is grieving, and that calls for respect. further, it is now politically incorrect to criticize the dead, no matter what they did, so i am sorry that the discussion should now be properly closed. in short, i'm sorry to hear this. hope you guys are, too.

I couldn't agree more with you two guys! It seems the Miss Belvedere curse has bitten a few of the members here and turned them into a bitter bunch of sniveling simpletons that can't accept the fact that this Miss Belie is no more than 3500 lbs of scrap. The ones who can't get past that fact are the ones that need the most sympathy! Edited by BHWINC 2008-02-28 12:48 PM

Veteran Posts: 238 ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Dallas,Ga. | Rest in piece, Boyd. I respected him as a car guy, and a craftsman. 63 years of age is too young to die. Very sad, in the grand scope of things. My father passed on when he was 42, and I miss him greatly, as I know Boyd's family will miss him. God rest his soul. ----------------Zach

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | From boydcoddington.com Rest in peace, Boyd. Once the dirt settles, I predict a HUGE mutiny brewin' against Duh-wayne. Coddington is gone... and it's a shame. I have to admit, he built some cool cars in his day - even if he was more of a "Brand-X" guy. -NM Edited by Nathan D. Manning 2008-02-29 5:50 PM (boydpage.jpg) Attachments ---------------- ![]()

Having already buried both of my parents, I know all too well what it's like to lose a family member. However, I would have expected ol' Boydster to live to a ripe old age.

Per some background discussion, I think we have all had our say, both good and bad, about Boyd. So I am now freezing this thread, and I think I will also remove the flaming posts, as it is disrespectful for Boyd's family to say such things. Think of it this way. How would you like these things posted about one of your family members whom has just died?
