I'll throw my 61 2dr Suburban Wagon on here. I am not done with it yet, but getting closer. Need to get the left side trim straightened and start on the interior. The aluminum slant six was pitted pretty bad, so I went with a 318 Magnum I had and a newer 727. It has an e-body rear end to get rid of the tapered axles. It has all of its original body panels and needed very little metal work. Still need to do a little in the spare tire area. It was originally Olive green and only had the front seat. I still have the Military plate that has all its info on it.

I know that they're hard to find (and to install), but a chromed roof rack would really set off the rest of your ride's
impact and appearance.

Nice car!

I have thought about the roof rack. I have had enough problems finding the trim I need for it. I am now looking for the right side belt moulding. The short 3" piece that goes between the rear window and the drip rail. It is a fun wagon and gets looks everywhere you go.

Old thread but wanted my old car documented. 61 Plymouth Fury Wagon Golden Commando. It was my first car. I bought it for $50 when I was 15 from the original owner who used it as a shop car for his body shop. It had been sitting for about 3 years when I bought it. It had a 361 with a carter 4V. I stored it in my parents barn while I was in the military then sold it around 89. A few years ago a co-worker said he thought he saw it in a junkyard south of Dayton. Several months later I went to the yard to find it. It was nowhere to be seen. A regular to the yard said it might have been crushed when a company contracted by the yard crushed several cars by mistake. so here's the only pics I have of it.

Closed photobucket account so new links.

Will you look at that! A one-piece frontend on a 2-door wagon no less!

Hessu explain yourself!

Please tell us more about your project.

Welcome to the site, too.
