Just for your information, the incomplete Electrojector system that Tom White purchased a few years ago for his 1958 DeSoto Adventurer cost him "a five-figure sum". And THEN he spent hundreds of hours restoring it!

Here's the story of his car, if you haven't read it already:

If you do run across one of these, please keep us posted, I personally am very interested in this type of set up, although realistically I won't ever be able to get one.

I'm not interested in running it as I'm going with dual quads on the GC. I was hoping to get one as a collectable/investment.

These pics are of two disassembled EFI units from Chrysler 300Ds.  I'll just say that the fellow that owned them has passed away and they are owned by the heir.  Yes, my heart was beating rather rapidly at this sight.

Mamacita! It is like looking into the sun too long! Besides for Tom White's, are these the last remnants left??? Even if they produced 40 (or so) of them for all makes, there can't be but a precious few that survived the scrap pile! It is like seeing a unicorn.

Yes, that is two units in one trunk.  A couple of answers.  They couldn't be bought when I took the pics and they can't be bought now.  For that matter, I don't know for certain that they stayed in that trunk or got sold.  And secondly, Sherwood Kahlenburg has at least bits and pieces if not at least one complete set up for the three 300D EFI cars he owns and there are other pieces around the world. There are always rumors of more.  Remember about 7-8 years ago a member of this FL group found a '58 Dodge in a gully with its fuel injection in place and intact?  Anyone seen him lately?

Each engine series would have needed its own intake manifold.  The injectors, air cleaners, trunk fuel pump and electronics probably were all shared other than nozzle size (or whatever you call it in injectors) relative to the cubes.  Distributor related to the engine series also.  What is the part number on that distributor - what is the application per parts book?

Trunk round access panel to in-tank fuel pump shown below.

I tried a search for that thread, but I couldn't find it. I joined the list about that time, but I can't recall that discussion. That is something that I probably would have keyed in on right away! How do I find that again? Does anybody remember any details?

That photo made me smile! That wood block, the triangle, I found in my trunk as well - thinking, that it was a homemade wheelblock - throwed it away.
A week went by, then it suddenly stroke me; Ah man, you trew away an original piece (however a little cheesy). Went out and turned a pile of woodscrap around and - found it again. This would have had left scars on my for the rest of my life - throwing away a piece in ignorance.

I seem to remember it was on the mailing list side... I too have wondered what ever happened to that car/member.

Ha!  Leave it to eBay!  That might explain the flex tube around the wiring at the upper left hand corner of the image.  I was trying to look at the image and see how it fit into the images earlier in this thread.  I gues this would be for a 1958 De Soto if you swapped the mill in your De Soto for a 2006 GMC Sierra!
