Veteran Posts: 157 Location: Loveland, CO | I see there are no comments on Andy Bernbaum's business practices, so if it helps you folks, here's my .02: I've spent a bit over 1100.00 at Andy Bernbaum's over the past few years and find him very good to deal with. His NOS stuff is great, and the folks there are very helpful and prompt. No problems. So far I've bought a complete brake system, misc. electrical parts and a front end from him for my '58. Each part was exact replacement with no mistakes. Chris

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7400 Location: northern germany | about 16 years ago i bought a set of 60 plymouth leafspings from him, $$$ including shipping (to germany) MUCH too stiff, no spring action at all, also raised the rear about 6". the springs broke in pieces after a couple of months. fortunatly not the main leaf. when i took whats left of the springs apart i noticed lots of incorrectly drilled spring center bolt holes in the sandwiched leafs, not visible from the outside. andy bernbaum never replied to my letters (2 or 3)

Expert Posts: 3577 Location: Blythewood, SC | I would avoid him like aids. I have dealt with him, and I was ripped off. The parts were not as described, he won't accept returns, and he is overpriced. Run, don't walk away as fast as possible.

I think he's ok, he can be a grouchy ol' s.o.b. but he knows his stuff. Maybe it depends on what you want. I got rubber parts from him on two occasions and they were as good as anywhere else, pricewise too from what I've seen.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 6203 Location: Big pimpin' | This has been discussed here in the archives, but as long as you DO NOT order any windshield rubber or back glass rubber for a '57-'58 Plymouth 2dr hd top, you will be just fine.....I did, and got stuck with it.... Expert Posts: 1208 Location: SWITZERLAND | All parts for the Windows and for the Top, as many other items, I got from Andy Bernbaum and have already been satisfied with, even my demands on Quality are much higher than most other car owners. Personal contact and shipment to Switzerland were always best. In eBay I would say: Highly recommended Seller. - SERGE -

Expert Posts: 3480 Location: Montreal, Canada | Just dealt with them for the first time. Was a GREAT experience. I would even say, exceptionaly great customer service: I had made a mistake in my order, and they sent the correct parts for free! Yes, I MADE the mistake, not them, and yet they still offered to correct it for free! I will certainly order more from them.
