After 6 months of calling and emailing i was finally the lucky buyer of this New yorker wagon.
It has some front floor rust and a couple of dents but otherwise its really solid!
And its well equipped, PB,PS,PW,Power Swivel Seats, Cruise Control,T&C Radio, etc

Neil!

I found it in Spring Valley, Close to San Diego. The woman i bought it from had the car standing in here backyard since 1993

Her Father bought it from a estate sale. But never got it running so he gave the car to the daughter.

I will try to take some more pics on the swivel seat when i get the Wagon to Sweden!

Very nice! Is that a trailer brake under the dash near the parking brake release? Also are these the cable driven "automatic" swivel seats? When you get some time, let's see a pic of the front door hinges and also the engine bay.

The sticker says "Road Maps" and there should be a clip that holds the maps mounted.

BTW, that "Road maps" glove box decal goes back, at least, to the 1957 (Dodges) MoPars...

You gotta go find a roof rack for this guy; I can't believe that, once you get her home, that you
won't, immediately, start tearing her down!

BTW (ii): I also can't believe that some company isn't already re-popping roof racks.

From one 1960 Chrysler owner to another, that is a fine project you have there, and I look forward to the progress on restoration.

These wagons are awesomly cool.
I saw a black '60 wagon on eBay some months ago with a lot of work on it.
I had mailed the seller when the eBay price was still around $1000 and he told I could come and get it for $4750.
The way the wagon looked I didn't think it would fetch that much but I guess I was wrong. It went for more than $5000 I think to recall.

No not really! I,m just curious how much interest it is in the wagon!

I know about another wagon for sale and have hard time to decied what to do.

The other car is in better shape but has a lot less options But since i have 6 other cars in a need of attention
it probably a good decision to sell this one and buy the other wagon thats almost a driver!

A New Yorker wagon...and the 1960....and in blue! It's a real dream ride already. Not to mention the swivel seats - who doesn't love the swivel seats ! And these in a wagon...there must have been very few ordered that way.
Plus the upholstery of 1960 NewYorkers always hits me, it speaks "luxury" so boldly !
