Removable Sunvisor Brackets, they were repro'd on eBay but not anymore that I can find. Sellers were either collectorautoparts or kimballmachineshop. Hydroelectric in Florida has convertible pump, cylinders? and hoses. Big M may have taillight housings.

Expert Posts: 1488 Location: New Castle PA | Sideshow, if you mean the scallop on the front fenders, it DOES NOT get painted the gold color. Raffa did it correctly. There's a metal insert that is painted the gold, and it just "sits" there in the space between moldings. That's true for all 1957 DeSotos, not just the Adventurers. I think it was a way of saving time. In stead of masking things off and re-spraying, they just grabbed the correct color insert to match whatever the lower sweep color was and inserted it into that space.

Is there a corresponding Silver paint, too?

Expert Posts: 1357 Location: Iowa USA | That is beautiful! When I pulled it out of the farmers field all those years ago I knew it could look like that again and needed to. Just wish I could have been the one to do it. It makes me proud to see it come back to life and glad that I saved it from even further destruction.
