Bill, do you have any idea if any Canadian 1960 Dodges were built with the four-bar spinner wheel covers? The standard non spinner wheel cover on Canadian 60 Dodges, while it looked similar to the US wheel cover, was actually smaller. The US 60 Dodge wheel cover, both standard and spinner types, extended over the edge of the rim to the tire. Canadian wheel covers had the usual half-inch gap on the outside, showing the painted rim. Yup, I'm hung up on all this trivial stuff ;-)

My former Canadian built 60 Polara has the four-bar spinners, but Ron ( current owner) got a set of these for the car. He also had to replace the rims as the four bar spinners wouldn't attach to the original rims, they were not deep enough at the outer edge for the flanges on the wheel covers to seat.

Bill, in that photo of the Dart 4 posts up , yes that's the standard Canadian wheel cover which looks similar to the US version, but the US version sits right over to the edge of the rim. One other thing, those Canadian 1960 Dodge wheel covers were used on 1963 Chryslers but the centre section was brushed stainless instead of being polished. The New Yorker version had a small round medallion attached on the centre portion.

I've also seen the CANADIAN literature stating " 60 Dodge Polara In the Custom Royal Series" I guess because Canadians were used to the upscale Custom Royal since 1955 - an all new name would be a little confusing but its still kind of strange.

Bill Watson sent me a complete EXCEL file on all the 1960 Dodge production figures,
specs, prices etc with a complete breakdown between the Canadian and USA production.
It's attached here for download, and is very informative and thorough.

The Heather Green and Glacier White Royal 2-dr D500 belongs to Wayne Maddox.

Note its recently replaced/overhauled single-resevoir master cylinder.
