Location: Dellslow, West ("By God") Virginia !		"Old Fart" I use to have a same color, '54 Convt, back there in the mid '60's. I nosed and decked it, skirts, frenched the headlights, and had a '54 Pontiac grille. It had crappy chrome, I brush painted 'bright' silver (some kind of metal roof paint they had back then, that was almost as shiney as chrome), real wire wheels. Hy-drive,,,, Slush-Drive,,,,JO-Drive,,,,Some kind of-Drive? You had to use the clutch to go from forward to reverse, but after that, just stomp the brake and gas.

Left for 'across-the-pond,' mom wanted the 'eye-sore' out of the yard. Made dad give it away, to some guy who wanted the motor for a PU, and the next door neighbor bought the wheels for $15. and put them on a Galaxy F0rd.

I can remember that thing would start (below zero) when no one elses' car would start. The heater on low would be unconfortabley hot. I had the top down several times during the winter running around, confortable. I know mom and dad didn't like for me to do that, because of 'how the neighbors would think' of me running around in deep snow with chains on, and the top down. The Sheriff didn't think I was too bright.

I'd almost be willing to trade you my '61 convt for it. (with my knees, I could get in and out of it better, than this '61. Need a swival seat that swings out then rises up,,,,,,,,,. whoo-haw)

I didn't ever register, the cut off was July 1st.

How is Sunday for the flee market? All the good stuff is long gone, right?

Location: Fleetwood, Pa		I surely don't want to jinx anything, but it looks as though they're calling for beautiful weather for all three days!!! When was the last time that happened for this show?? We'll see if it holds up........

The nice thing about this show is that different cars show up on different days. Many collector car owners, such as myself, try to take various cars to the show. What's there Saturday may not necessarily be there on Friday or Sunday. It's actually beneficial to go multiple days.....

Is it really saving our fossil fuels?Or polluting the earth more than a 4 cly gas car?How do they dispose of the toxins from the batteries? My gas car pollutes the air and than trees clean the air!(So plant a tree). Bury 55 gal drums of battery waste and how is that cleaned up??? Hybrd cars are a scam! Thats just my 2 cents! Location: Connecticut		It was great to see everyone this weekend. This was some of the best weather in years.

IMHO, Sunday was the best day, with lots of nice FL cars making an appearance. For example, I counted five 55 Desotos, including what looked like an original red and black Firedome convertible.

This is still my favorite show of the year.

Location: Fleetwood, Pa		FYI....... The light pink 60 Chrysler Saratoga 4 dr sedan was for sale in the flea market. Factory A/C!!! Current owner was asking $15,000. It's had 1 repaint, inside looked pretty much all original. It was low mileage, but I forget what it was off-hand. Looked to be a very nice car......but I didn't do a thorough inspection.

(Even though i drove a 54 Plymouth Conv) Met a lot of club members and really enjoyed it ! I have to add with the great number of different cars at this show I think it's only 2nd to Hershey!
