A really nice looking car. Seller states "We believe this is one of only four 1956 Desoto Firedome Sevilles still in existance today. ". Even without checking, I find that extremely difficult to believe. I don't have my
NDC roster handy, but I know it shows around 350 members owning the '56es. Four Firedome Sevilles would make them rarer than Adventurers.

If there are 350 '56es in the NDC, how many total are in the world today? If that 350 represents 10%, then that would give us 3500 cars total. 5% would give us 7000. Anybody want to ponder?

I looked at on near Jackson, Michigan around 8 years ago. Black primary color with White Top and color side sweep.

The Seville was the "bare bones" vehicle, and generally found with limited power anything. The one I looked at was a Powerflite, but the guy I believe told me he knew of another that was a column manual shift.

So that would make two........

The wire rims apear to be wheel covers.

Look at the last pic with door open, they are laying on thr floor (Unless they are really thin rims but lol)

Things I "note" about this vehicle. Not "bitching", so forgive me if I sound "purist" here!

The rear seat is obviously redone, and in different fabric/vinyl

The engine has been rebuilt, and those are not correct valve cover colors (looks "Adventurer" colors but Firedome wire covers)

This car has Power Steering (interesting red pump) and Power Brakes, which is unusual for a low-line Seville. Would LOVE to see the built option plate on this one.

Color scheme does look to be how a lot of Sevilles came through, as single color would be more inexpensive.

All-in-all the vehicle does look to be pretty well maintained for its age, and that the paint is a redo of original, not a color change.
The stainless side trim and chromed diecast look pretty good from the pictures.
The steering wheel is also in good shape, which is another reason to think that this car was either somewhat restored or if not was garaged to prevent sunlight cracking the wheel plastic.

The wire wheels I agree look to be aftermarket wheel covers.........
