Interestingly, the station wagons got the 'heavy (sort of-) duty' interiors, which were shared with the convertible models. There were only two verts; the Custom Royal and the Coronet. For the top-line Custom Sierra wagons, they shared the Custom Royal convertible's "Gotham Plaid" (actually, it was a version of a Donegal Plaid style) upholstery. The bottom-line Suburban 2-dr wagons got the Coronet convertible's "Silver Strata" upholstery. But, the middle-level wagon, the 4-door Sierras (like this car), which were analogous to the middle-level Royals, also got the Coronet "Silver Strata" interior, because there wasn't a middle-level convertible which was produced. There were 13,033 Sierra 2-seat wagons built, in 1957, and 4,019 3-seat wagons. Relatively few (numbers are not recorded in the factory records) of either version were D500 models. Extreme Veteran Posts: 504 | It appears to have been sold @ Taylor's Dodge in the Detroit area...interesting that it made it to California. Or was there a Taylor's in CA also? (458.jpg) (458.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 458.jpg (114KB - 155 downloads) 458.jpg (114KB - 165 downloads)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 7807 Location: Williams California | From past e-bay auctions from this car lot, I would be very careful of buying anything from this outfit without checking it thoroughly yourself. Several ForwardLook cars they had in the past several years were grossly overstated and questionable. ---John
