My Plaza has the cloth interior and with power steering, got the fancy steering wheel, so
it is pretty plush on the inside for a Plaza. No dashpad or radio, but underdash A/C !

It will be a funky car !

John,
How did you make/form the dash pad? If I make it to Devon this Saturday, I'll have to look at it!

I have to say, I'm really jealous of that beautiful steering wheel! Mine has cracks!...

Can't really see it in the photo, but he got the pearlescent swirling PERFECT
on it too. I still need to reanodize a few of the aluminum pieces, but all the
chrome is done. It will be a real pleasing experience to see the world looking
out over the wheel and dash of this Plaza !

Are you having the star-patterned dash trim pieces reanodized? If so, is your anodizing shop able to have them redone with the "dull background-shiny stars" original appearance?

Not sure. I was looking more into redoing the grille and other parts that
look "cloudy".

First, I will say be very careful and, if your interested, I will try and get the name of the stuff, but a truck detailer (truck cleaner) I know has an acid wash stuff used to get dirt staining out of paint and I used a bit on the anodized side strips for my dodge and I was surprised how well they came out

No abrasive cleaning, just sprayed it on, scrubbed with a house broom and rinsed off (did that a few times to make sure the acid stuff was gone)

Not as good as new, but not destroyed either (detail polished away)

The price quotes I got for reanodizing were surprisingly inexpensive. Nothing
like getting something chromed.
