Location: Belgium, 40 miles south of Brussels | Hi,
My car had its floorpan replaced before I bought it.
They put new metal, but did not drill the holes where the front seat bracket studs are fastened to the floorpans.
Could someone give me the exact position of the 4 holes on each side ?
It's a '58 Plymouth Belvedere 2-door hardtop.
Thanks.
PS : The picture is not from my car, it's just there to show what I'm looking for.

If your car has had the sheetmetal replaced on the floors, there would have to still be the underbracing. The seat bolts through the floorboard and the seat reinforcement brace beneath the floor, so you should be able to look from beneath at the brace to determine where the holes need to be drilled.

Location: Belgium, 40 miles south of Brussels | Thanks John, I didn't think about that !
I hope that the braces are still intact ...
They tampered a lot with the floors and brace to "repair" (sort of ... anyway) the floors.
I'll take a look this afternoon.

Location: Montreal, Canada | I do need the same measurements, and I don't have the original underfloor brackets. Anyone could measure the hole placements, please? Car is a 58 Plymouth two door hardtop. |

I can measure my 58 and get back with you.
Thanks a lot! I think just a measurement from the back seat to the rearmost front seat volts would suffixe to place my front seat at the correct location. |
