We have some advantage down South - 10º Celsius today, so I took the first trip for the season today; our cars are stimulants indeed!

Member Posts: 17 Location: Humboldt Kansas | I've been cruising through you guys pictures and I'd like to say you all do beautiful work! I'd love to visit Sweden sometime and explore the car culture over there, my family came from Sweden many generations ago (last name is Olson). Anyways, did you guys happen to buy a hoard of forward look cars (including a 57? Dodge convertible) from a man named Frank Schoemaker in Humboldt Kansas? He sold most of his collection around 10 years ago to some ol boys over there and I'd love to find out what happened to that convertible!

These pictures remind me...there would be a US market for dimpled body mount sheet metal for those of us without the tools to stamp them. I had to hand make the ones for my '56 Plymouth and though they functioned, they were ugly and took a long time to make.

Are the Regals considered part of the Custom Royal series? It doesn't say Custom or Royal anywhere on the car. The seats in the Regals are nicer than the 58 New Yorker seats, and nicer than the base 58 Imperial seats!! Edited by imopar380 2017-07-28 12:47 PM

Extreme Veteran Posts: 390 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Hilltown, PA | The dealer script on this car looks to read "Jarrett/Hatboro" That was a small family run dealer close to where I grew up They're gone now - lost their dealership back when Chrysler was shedding dealers to recover from some disaster or another. It was a cool place - the owner was a collector, had a Hemi 66 Charger, a few FL cars (maybe even that one actually . . . ) Gregg (jarrettdodge.jpg) Attachments ---------------- ![]()

Expert Posts: 1984 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Branson, MO | You are welcome - yes, that's the '60 Chrysler I was referring to. I'm generally a DeSoto guy but since DeSoto didn't have a convertible in '60, I have to go with the Chrysler. This model is so clean and uncluttered it stands out beyond anything else for 1960. Some may disagree with me but I actually like it better than the 300 probably because the lone side trim is longer and appears to be a bit lower on the car. I do like, and always have liked, the 300 grille but even the Windsor grille looks classy on this car. That color red is truly amazing - very tasteful.
