In '56, it seems the  LA plant used this card for all cars.  The colors on the card correspond to a Plymouth.

Some areas were unreadable.

Yup; and the commonality of this IBM card makes it very difficult to confirm the various possible D500 equipment codings
for a Dodge, although the D500 engine number is hand-written under the "Motor Number" box, on it, but, confirming the
HD suspension items, or not, is not self explanatory on them.

Also, the 1955 & 1956 Detroit built Dodge IBM cards are identical, which causes more confusion in understanding what
they're saying, about either years' options.

The punches seem to correspond to an invisible grid of numbers on the card. 1's across the top, 2's next line...on down to the bottom row of 9's which are visible. Following the punch up to the very top of the card, the numbers are printed out for various things...I think.

[It took me forever to make this.  I thought I would go blind.]

Here's the card, in-question.

Yeah, the side numbers relate to the punch-outs on a vertical line of codings, but, the trick is in understanding
what a certain punch-out might specifically refer-to (and, of course, where, on the P/T plate a certain option coding might be located, that refers to a coding on the IBM card).
