I'm looking for the crown fender emblem ornaments and the hood ornament but i've only ever seen it on this white Monarch and the tail light center chrome which is actually plastic. Parklanes will work too for parts! as far as the tail light

Can't help you with parts but several years ago a buddy's family farm was being sold and he told me of a bunch of old cars his uncle had ditched back in the woods. There was a Mercury, a flatbed Ford and a few others. I had hoped to salvage a few good parts but there really wasn't much to save. In Delaware, if you leave something outside for a while you can expect it to look a lot like this after awhile.

Holy crow, that is one sweet looking Monarch!! I've been looking for a '59 Merc wagon. Have you seen any around your neck of the woods?

Jeff-
I will be getting in a '59 Mercury Commuter 2-door Hardtop wagon, most likely next week.

If that interests you, let me know, I'll put you first in line.

Most likely named after Cardinal Richelieu (active in the church and politics in 1600's France).

Cool cars. I really like the crown on the hood. I dimly recall seeing these crowns on old, used Monarchs back in the day.

Good luck with your parts search, Simeon57!

There's a 1959 Monarch Lucerne sedan in a junk yard here in Quebec. Pretty sure it's to be parted out, if you need anything off it, I can give you the yard's contact info. PM me on it.

This car was running and driving in the early 1990's and was for sale near where I grew up. It ended up in this junk yard in the late 1990's and it's probably too far gone to be restored now, sadly.

Hi there from Germany,

I need some help advice for my Monarch II Lucerne 1959.

Where do I find info on what the details are in the VIn Plate

Mine shows 358AK59-

Engine: Q2
Trim: 453
Paint: 1MM

I was not able to find a VIN decoder that shows the car.

thanks and best

Carsten
