Expert Posts: 2473 Location: Dalveen, Queensland, Australia | Your thoughts are received with gratitude... I know that Janet is now in God's care, in his memory, one day I will be so happy to be reunited with her. The promises from Isaiah 65:17 to 25 are so real to us, the hope that springs from John 5:28 & 29, Psalm 37:9-11 and 29, echoed in Matthew 5:5, Job 14:15 & 16, these have sustained us both through these trialsome hours. Thank you all, I look forward to meeting some more of you during my trip to the USA next year.

I am so sorry to hear this, even though we all know its inevitability, its still painful when it happens. She is at least now at peace and in the Lord's embrace. My thoughts and prayers go out to both you and Janet. You please get some rest yourself now. Hank

Expert Posts: 2473 Location: Dalveen, Queensland, Australia | Wisconsin... Watkins Glen... they're nearby to each other, I'll get there... In fact we spent most of three days at the Glen on our last trip, the International Motor Racing Research Center was a must for us and the Argetsinger family along with Bill Green and others treated us like royalty. Expert Posts: 2473 Location: Dalveen, Queensland, Australia | That being the case, and my visit being in summer, I look very much forward to having your girls (and yourselves?) taking me for a morning walk to one or two of those beauty spots so my photo prospects will be enhanced. I've just been on the phone to Mike Argetsinger, he is such a champion of the history of racing at the Glen and that's my primary interest. I look forward to catching up with you all.

Location: Parts Unknown | I live about 5k from the big U-pull yard in Spokane Valley. Is that the one you are thinking of ? Spaulding's is right next door to them, but they do the pulling.

Expert Posts: 2473 Location: Dalveen, Queensland, Australia | I'm not sure which ones they were, but when I was there last year we went to two of them, I'm fairly sure they were owned by the same people... Jon took me there, he lives in West Shawnee, but they were a long way from his place, I would think towards the eastern side of town.

Where the hell is THAT ? ! Yeah, ... Pull-n-Save and Spaulding's are side-by-side there on the east side of town. I will research what else is around. What are you looking for ?

Expert Posts: 2473 Location: Dalveen, Queensland, Australia | "West Shawnee" is the street Jon lives in... I got a bunch of 8¾ stuff last time as well as spare brake parts for my truck and a bunch of wheel studs.
