Before anyone asks .... yes, those are Dodge wagon tail lights. Probably swapped when an original
got bonked and they could not find a replacement.

I wonder why these survive in such large numbers ?

The ad:

1957 Desoto Firesweep Shopper 4 door 2 seat wagon, 325 CID poly V-8 engine. Runs, drives, push button transmission works fine, brakes work fine, all stainless trim is in tact except one 'eyebrow' piece over the headlight, all glass is in great condition, basically a fully functioning driving car that just needs some love. It has some rust at the bottoms if the quarter panels, bottom of the tailgate and in various spots on the floor pans from it sitting for years. Has original black CA license plates. This car lists in the 2014 Collector car Price Guide as between a # 4 and 5, but I want to move it and I feel it needs some TLC all over and that brings it down a bit closer to a 5. The book lists a #4 for $8,500.00 and a #5 as $5,100.00. I feel $5,000.00 is a fair starting price and I will entertain any reasonable offer. This is a cool, fun to drive, and rare car. I've had it sitting for 10 years, recently got it up and running again and need to move it. I have the clean title in hand

Believe this was already in another post awhile back, the tailights were discussed.
