I will be hunting for a pair of rear fender panels for a 1961 fury 2dr ht. I also believe a pair from a '60 will work too .Any leads will be appreciated.

If you are talking about the rear quarter panels-the 60s are very different from the 61s.

I think fender skirts?

They come up quite often on ebay

The stainless ones are a different story

The wheel lips would be the same, but pretty much everything else will be totally differnt between the 60 and 61.

About yout best bet for complete panels will be cut offs, complete nos ones (if you could find them would cost you around $1500 a peice if your lucky, most likely much more, and I doubt you will find them in a timely manour.

You will be better off (if budget is a conciderstion) getting repair sections and dealling with their so so fit.

What you can do with them is to cut the minimum amount of orriginal panel out and use sections of the sections for the repairs.

Not sure of the availability of 61 repair sections as I dont look for them, but get used to the daily ebay hunt

I am on a budget on this that is why I am shopping around for the best deal. I was told it would cost me $750 plus shipping to have my dash pad redone . I am going to shop around for the best deal.

Post pics of the damage to the quarters. These folks can figure out the best plan of action.

You don't need new quarters, Steph. A bit of rocker patching will be inexpensive and way less traumatic to your car. So, car anatomy 101. Fenders are the big panels over the front wheels. Deck lid is known as the trunk lid by lay-people. Quarter panels are the back panels over the rear wheels, and rocker panels are the sills under the doors and back to the rear wheels. It's awful about your former car. But this one can be ship shape in short order.

I know it will be in no time. My dad is going over it now before I start driving the car, I wrote down on sheet of paper what the car needs and the wants on another sheet of paper behind it. I already registered the car and put the license plate on it. I got a 1961 Tennesee licence plate assigned to the car.
The 1st photo is after my dad took it out for a drive up the road then came back . the 2nd is when it was 1st brought home and the 3rd I cleaned the windows inside and out.
In the future after the restoration the windows will be tinted like I did with my other '61 fury
