Haspe, I can't afford an extra engine right now, but do you happen to know (or can you look for ) the engine NUMBER? I'd like to have it for my 1957 DeSoto database. It's stamped on the flat area just ahead of the water pump, to of engine, kind of under the thermostat, and should be either S25-xxxx or S26-xxxx. Thank you!

Guess I should have looked up your real name first, before asking for that number! I already have that engine in my database, but I didn't know (or didn't remember that) you had sold the car. You also had a non-salvageable Fireflite. Do you still have it?

THANK YOU.
