Location: N.W. Fla. | Running electronic ignition on my 331. Car wouldn't start yesterday. Timing light on the coil wire shows one pulse when key is turned, none while cranking & 1 pulse when key is turned off. Have an extremely dim memory of this problem on another car waaaay back, but have forgotten how I fixed it back then. |

Location: Perth Australia | The one spark thing is basically the module getting power, then not getting power
Your getting no spark because either the module or the pick up (inside the dissy) has failed
Its most likely the module, but before you replace it, check the ign coil as they are a common cause of blown modules (to much current, shorting out)

The orange box is notorious for failing. I've gone through 3-4 of them and now used only the chrome box. |

Location: Missouri | I'm still using the orange box that came with my conversion kit that I bought back in the '80's. It is and always has been mounted on the front right corner of the radiator brace, where it gets plenty of cooling. I have thought about an upgrade to the chrome box if/when the orange ever failed, especially since I've read more than once about the orange box failures. Perhaps my choice of mounting location has prolonged it's life? Harold
