Elite Veteran Posts: 664 Location: Wales, Wisconsin | The sad part is that quite a few ND cars have very little rust. My 55 came from there and there is no rust in the floor, trunk or frame at all. Even the fenders over my headlights are rust free. As said above, crusher will probably get most of these. ND is so far from so much of the general population. I could really use some pieces off a whole car for mine and I am only 2 states away but it's still almost a 12 hour drive. Hopefully the rarer pieces will get saved.

Although neither my Belvedere or my '64 Valiant were sold there, I'd like to have one for the Valiant since I worked at that dealership in '64.

Veteran Posts: 163 Location: SW MO | https://www.proxibid.com/asp/Catalog.asp?aid=82459 I would be curious to know if any one here got a chance to attend this auction. I had plans to go initially, but as it turned out I had a prior commitment that I was unaware of. You can follow the above link to see what the final sales prices were. Other fees may have applied depending on how you bid, but with such low prices for the most part, it wouldn't have amounted to much. Prices appear to be pretty reasonable for the most part, until you factor in the cost of getting your new treasure(s) home.

After looking at the results one would have to assume that the $350 bids were from the crushers as that seems to be the minimum sold price. If true, sad that so many pieces of clean sheet metal, glass and trim will be crushed. Unfortunately Bismarck ND is not really close to many populated areas and cost of transport would have been prohibitive.
