Veteran Posts: 255 Location: Dunnellon, FL | I run low 12's in the quarter with my '60 Belvedere. Engine is stroked to 470", run the "short" long rams with a mild cam, later 727 with a manual VB:  It's still tame enough to take to a local cruise:  | ||

Not happy about that, but it is what it is!! Will be at MoPars on The Mississippi this weekend, will kick off the cruise Sat at 4PM and be on the dash plaque this year. Expert Posts: 3575 Location: Netherlands | A little air under that wheel would have been nice but I didn't fancy the idea of making the 2 hour trip to the track with a highstall convertor and the 3.9 gears in the axle. I did that once in a '67 440 Newport with a 3800 stall convertor and 3.9 gears but it wasn't an easy ride. Another concern was also keeping everything running and working properly for the trip home   | ||
