Location: Parts Unknown | They other day I saw a 68 Plymouth B-body .... (Roadrunner ?) going down the road and my heart
went all "pitter-pat". Put a happy mood in me for the rest of the day. But if I go to a car show and 30
of those same cars are there, I am put off and only see it as contrived and boring. Something about
being in their natural element versus all together so the chest pounders can compare horsepower notes.
Not long ago I found a 71 Plymouth E-body in an overgrown weedpatch backyard. Man, was that cool
to see ! Turned out, it was just a basic Barracuda with a 318, but it was complete and sat on some nice
rallye wheels. The paint was toast and it truly was a ratbag, but it was awesome ! That car was 100x
more exciting to see than a 100-pointer at some auction or car show to me. Call me weird. The best
shows" are the ones never meant to be a show at all.

Same for me the other day, I saw a 56 chev going up the road, loved it, but in a show setting, I would walk past it
