Script from ad:

Top-of-the-line Dodge Sedan purchased from the estate of the 2nd owner, who was a close friend of the original owner. Both lived within 5-10 miles of the original selling dealer. This time warp car has 55,000 actual miles and it's on the title.

This car was ordered with just about everything Dodge offered in 1958 including power steering, brakes, windows and seat (all of which work correctly), torqueflite push button 3 speed automatic transmission, clock, two tone steering wheel, right outside rear view mirror, stone shields, full spinner wheel covers, hood ornaments and bumper mounted exhaust ports (RARE). Spring Special Group including grill emblems, wide trim belt-line mouldings, rear license plate escutcheon and fin end caps. Shaded interior see through visors (RARE). 350 CU IN V-8.

The second owner had the car repainted around 1999 in its original 2 tone combination of Sand Metallic and Beige. The car had no rust or body damage. The original interior could pass for what you might find in a period Chrysler or Imperial - it's that plush. It appears as new and never fails to draw a thumbs up. No known mechanical issues with this 1958 Dodge Custom Royal.

Here's the thread from a few months ago:

http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=52965&posts=20&highlight=58 custom royal&highlightmode=1#M444270

It looks like they cleaned it up nicely.  In the last eBay auction, it was for sale from Cottage Grove, WI.  Now it is in Raliegh, NC with Florida plates on it - which is puzzling.  On eBay, it was bid up to $14,158 with reserve not met.

So, is anyone going to Raleigh this weekend for the auction?
