Picked it up needing a few things to be a driver.
Been working on it in my spare time on the weekends.

Looks like the car is starting to come together. Keep up the good work Frank.

I just rewired and put in a fuse block. Just need a few relays to get some of the circuits on accessory circuit.
I know I could run it out of the key cylinder but it would then not be fused the way I want.

This weekend hoping to get the 12v brake lights in and a little brake work then I can drive it.

Now that is a cool example of a true Plain Jane stripper! (and not the pole dancing kind!)

yes very plain. Ive got some of the chrome trim pieces for the exterior under the windows, but not all of them. Also do have the dash trim for above the stereo delete panel, and the center of the steering wheel piece but need to find the screws they are very small for the steering wheel and also the ones for the dash trim.

Also gotta adjust that door it sags a little too much if you can't tell from the pic.

Yes I seen/heard some very gnarly sounding flat 6s on YouTube.
I've got the three on the tree and was warned to be careful when shifting that its not a drag racer its a classic car.

Its got more hp than my last car had (1990 Geo metro) so I think I'll be good.
Plus a nice torque band to get lost in.

I ordered a 12v bulb kit on eBay (actually cheaper than going to my parts store who wans $5 each pair of lights).
And a shop manual I ordered too.
Almost bought a glovebox liner since I have no where to keep my registeration but $50 for a peice of cardboard I can't justify until I figure out what else it needs to be a driver.

And tonight a buddy is stopping by to help bleed the brakes.

Should have it driving by next week once I get he brakes and brake lights working.

I can't wait.
