(I only joined in Oct. 2016 so that is my excuse) Your 56 Dodge Custom Royal (D63-3) was built in Detroit on or about October 6, 1955 (fairly early in the build cycle). The 835 is the code for the Custom Royal 4 dr Sedans. 161 is the 2 tone paint code for Royal Blue Poly Metallic upper and Wedgewood Blue lowers. Your trim is the blue on blue 541, same as mine.
