Go into your Control Panel, and enable "Rich Text" editing.  PLEASE don't go overboard with text formatting... it makes the posts very difficult to read and follow.

With the rich text editor you can:

  • Format text to be bold, italicized, or underlined.
  • Change the type, size and color.
  • Left, center, or right-justify paragraphs.
  • Make bulleted or numbered lists.
  • Indent or un-indent paragraphs
  • Insert a horizontal line.
  • Insert hyperlinks and externally-hosted images. (Note: you will get a "fixme" error while previewing the image. Just ignore it.)
  • Insert tables
  • View the raw HTML source of what you're editing
  • Spell check your posts (not implemented yet - coming soon)

It works just like a word processor program:

If you're feeling very advanced, you can try the advanced mode:

There are popup windows to choose your colors:

And an easy popup box to choose an externally-hosted image to insert:

And more.  We hope that it will suit your needs.
