I had vowed never to order from them again, based on Mr. Bernbaum's rudeness over the phone. However, I see there is a new owner now, and wonder if the service has improved.

For what it's worth, I just got a refund from them for a wrong part they sent A YEAR AGO - and an electrical one at that. When my voltage regulator wouldn't work right I discovered a very small "6v" stamped on it. I had clearly ordered a 12 volt one. I called them and got no hassle at all. They will get more of my business.

We have given them a lot of business and have never had any problems. Good service and everything fit great.

Just ordered and 3 days later received a set of brake shoes that no one else seems to have. A little pricey but they're what I need and I'm happy with the quickness of the delivery.

Just dealt with them for the first time.

Was a GREAT experience. I would even say, exceptionaly great customer service: I had made a mistake in my order, and they sent the correct parts for free! Yes, I MADE the mistake, not them, and yet they still offered to correct it for free!

I will certainly order more from them.

Some weatherstrip parts. The part that I had ordered wrong was a pair of quarters window divider weatherstrip. I had mistakenly ordered 55-56 ones, and they sent me the correct 57-59 ones for free.

Andy was a charm school dropout, but his parts and prices were decent, and he never lied to me, like many vendors do.

Well, my last experience with him was from last month, and it was not a good one.

I bought from him (off eBay) a set of 5 left thread wheel bolts, using the "Buy now" option.

As the shipping was not specified outside US, I requested a total amount with shipping. And waited ...
One week later, I made the same request again. And waited ...
Again one week later, I wrote directly to him. And waited ...
We were at that point a full 3 weeks after the purchase.

Suddenly, eBay informs me that the guy has filed a "Unpaid item" conflict !
I write to him a fourth time, and I guess at that time, the guy sees all the mails and requests, so he finally sends me the total amount.
The item was $35 and the guy slams me a $35 shipping price, obviously with a great deal of improvisation.
At that time, my patience had worn off, so I paid.

Chrome58, you didn't know, but you should have ordered those wheel studs from nippelit.fi (<-direct page for ½" studs, search for "LEFT" or "VASURI"=left) 5 x €3 each = €15
+ shipping from FIN to BE much less than €31 ($35).

Thanks, now I know it ...

Furthermore, I just have been informed by the local customs that I will have to pay duties on that package.
In the end, I think I will have paid close to $20 per wheel bolt !!

I had a good experience with Bernbaum when I had a fender-bender in my Fury a few years ago. I called with a part number for an NOS left side fender brow, he said they had it in stock, the price was reasonable, and I received it in a week.

I forgot to mention another thing. It dates a bit now, but several years ago I bought from him a whole set of parts for the braking system, including a new master cylinder. Well, the threaded hole on the front of the MC was several size over the original one, so I had to find a hard to find adaptator to plug the front line.

The other parts were perfect, though.

My experience with Bernbaum, though I've only used him once, was fine. I ordered a washer bag and cap from him. No issues and reasonably priced. I'd order from them again.
