Expert Posts: 2308 Location: The Bat Cave, Fairborn, OH | Here is a selection of the Forward Look cars that came to the 2015 WPC National Meet in Springfield, IL in July 2015. Car turn-out was somewhat low I thought for this event. The 1958 Plymouth convertible won first prize in the 1957-59 class. Expert Posts: 2308 Location: The Bat Cave, Fairborn, OH | The 1958 Imperial is a four door. This is the only other picture I have of it. Judging by the way the paint seems off on the front end and doesn't really match the body it may be a repaint, but I do not know the color. It wasn't my car. Also attach a few more pictures of the 1957 Chrysler 300C. Extreme Veteran Posts: 394 Location: Royal Oak, MI | Thanks for the additional pic. Yeah, maybe the front end on the Imperial was repainted, but it does look like Tahitian Coral, which is a pretty rare color on that year Imperial. It also looks like the top insert was two-toned, but faded. Did it look white, or was it possibly gray? It looks like the interior might be gray.

The top was white but there were patches where the primer was showing through, so it coud have used a refresh. Perhaps the owner will get around to it one of these days. I don't really remembner what the interior looked like. It could have been grey, but I didn't take a picture and I really can't recall it other than it looked in good condition for a 50+ year old car. The only thing that stuck out on this car was the front bumper. (No pun intended). There appeared to be some damage to the center section either the chrome skin or the entire section. Those must be pretty hard to get which is why I assume the owner hasn't taken care of it yet.
